The dark sky dims my world. I know it is still early for bed.
But now I want to lay asleep. When I close my eyes,
I feel at peace.
Yes, at peace.
Away from all distress.
But when I’m asleep, my spirit wants to escape,
To be awake again. To see you. And to be with you.
Again.
The sun rises and lights up my world.
Its reflection through my window awakes my senses.
Now I’m awake. Ready for another day.
I will not let this day end up with nothing.
I will get you back. I know you belong to me.
